Pink Floyd - Meddle
Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog. Today, I will be reviewing Pink Floyd's Meddle. I have heard a lot of people saying that this is the precursor to the legendary, Dark Side of The Moon. Well then, let's see if it is so. Starting off the album, we have One Of Those Days, which starts with an energetic bassline and a powerful wind blowing in the background, also featuring occasional organ chords. And then, at the 2 minute mark, a guitar emerges from beneath, however it is quickly filtered to sound like it's "stuttering". Finally, the track turns into a proper Pink Floyd rock song. A Pillow Of Winds was a simple, yet rather long, mainly acoustic song. Yeah, it was good. Fearless was a not so acoustic song, this time featuring actual percussion, however it still maintained it's calm demeanour, and then just before the 5 minute mark, a crowd starts singing. Another good track. San Tropez was another calm song, this time having a more jazz feel to it. Real...
