  Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog. Today, I will be reviewing Death Grips' latest LP, at the time of writing this, Year Of The Snitch. After Bottomless Pit, I was hoping to see more catchy, but glitchy and distorted music from the group on this next album. That's wasn't quite what I got... We open with Death Grips Is Online, which is one of the better cuts. It features a guitar filling the soundscape. Whilst the chorus isn't the most interesting, the verse are some the group's best and dirtiest sounding. Flies is... oh no... NO NOT THE NLDW SPARSE MIXES. The song sounds empty, the drums are bland, the synths are boring. No, not again. Oh, nevermind, Black Paint is fat, dirty and distorted, that's what I like. The vocals are buried under the mix. The guitar is great, and the bass is super heavy. And then we return to the empty mixes with Linda's In Custody. The song is boring, the hook is bland.   Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog. Today, I will be reviewing Death Grips' third studio album, Government Plates. Now kicked out of Epic Records, the group founded Third Worlds. One of the songs on here features Robert Pattinson, of all people. He's actually a big Death Grips fan. Anyway, with that being said, let's get into the review... Right off the bat, we start with the interestingly named, You Might Think He Loves You for Your Money but I Know What He Really Loves You for It’s Your Brand New Leopard Skin Pillbox Hat. And this song culminates everything their previous album lacked, pure, raw aggression, ground shaking synth basses, hammering drums. Amazing opener. And then the pure hyped aggression of the previous track is broken by Anne Bonny. With some heavily filtered vocals, light hearted synths, clean sounding basslines and synthetic sounding drums, I did not enjoy this song.   Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog. Today, I will be reviewing A Momentary Lapse Of Reason. After a messy lawsuit battle between Roger Waters and the rest of the band, David Gilmour took charge of the group moving forward. This was their first release during this period. Let's see how it sounds. We open of Signs Of Life, greeting us with river noises and powerful synth chords. A surprising opener to this album. The synths remind me of the ones on Welcome To The Machine. In contrast to the moody atmosphere of the opener, Learning To Fly is loud and in your face. We have reverb drenched drum machines and synth chords to back up the guitar and vocals. Yup, this album is very 80s. And whilst I love the 80s, this song sounds very outdated. The Dogs Of War sounds exactly like Learning To Fly, but this time we open on an ominous marching melody, and it generally sounds a bit more epic, compared to the previous track.   Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog. Today, we will be reviewing Aphrodite's Child's sophomore album, It's Five O'Clock. Not much else to say here, let's jump straight into this album. We start with the title track. A slow, mellow ballad, with a beautiful vocal performance from Mr. Roussos. A must listen. Wake Up sounds like a song from the beginning of The Beatles' career. That wouldn't be so bad, if the lyrics and vocals weren't so generic. Neither is the instrumental something to talk about. Take Your Time sounds like the most generic American folk song you'll ever hear. The harmonica sounds "bored", and the vocals are just decent. It also has one of the most boring instrumentals in the band's entire career. On the other side, we have the beautiful Annabella. The gorgeous vocal performance, soft, whimsical instrumental, they all create an amazing song. A much needed refresher from the previous two songs. Let Me Love, Let Me Liv...
