Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog. Today, I will be ranking my top 10 Aphrodite's Child songs. Let's get straight into it. 10) Break: A great end to 666 , featuring some very warm vocals and a really welcoming guitar solo, as if the credits are rolling on the band's career. 9) Rain And Tears: A sweet ballad with some of my favourite instrumentals in all of Aphrodite's Child's career. The vocals are especially gentle on this song. 8) Marie Jolie: As much as I did not enjoy It's Five O'Clock , this and 2 other songs on this list hold it up. This song is a psychedelic ballad, with beautiful vocals as usual. 7) The Grass Is No Green: Incredible psychedelic prog rock song. Filtered vocals and abstract instrumentals create such a beautiful atmosphere. 6)  It's Five O'Clock: A nice and gentle soft rock song, with some very nice vocals.  Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog. Today, we are reviewing the third and last album from Aphrodite's Child, 666. Now despite the very evocative title, it does not have links to Satanism or the spread of the worship of evil. Quite the opposite, it actually contains verses from The Book of Revelation, a.k.a. The Final Book Of The New Testament. Now that I have got that out of the way, this record is the band's most critically acclaimed, and for good reason. Let's talk about why it is. We open on a choir chanting "We found The System". Then we transition into Babylon, an acoustic rock song, with a very groovy feel to it, accompanied by some crowd screaming. A very nice song to be sure. We turn to a calmer demeanor, with Loud, Loud, Loud, featuring a young boy narrating about the day the world will stop. As wind chimes plink, we hear Mr. Demis' gentle voice, as we enter The Four Horsemen, referring to The Four Horsemen Of The Apocalypse. This song is an abs...

  Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog. Today, we will be reviewing Aphrodite's Child's sophomore album, It's Five O'Clock. Not much else to say here, let's jump straight into this album. We start with the title track. A slow, mellow ballad, with a beautiful vocal performance from Mr. Roussos. A must listen. Wake Up sounds like a song from the beginning of The Beatles' career. That wouldn't be so bad, if the lyrics and vocals weren't so generic. Neither is the instrumental something to talk about. Take Your Time sounds like the most generic American folk song you'll ever hear. The harmonica sounds "bored", and the vocals are just decent. It also has one of the most boring instrumentals in the band's entire career. On the other side, we have the beautiful Annabella. The gorgeous vocal performance, soft, whimsical instrumental, they all create an amazing song. A much needed refresher from the previous two songs. Let Me Love, Let Me Liv...

  Welcome back to my blog. Today, we will start reviewing the short discography of Aphrodite's Child. Who is Aphrodite's Child, you may say. Well, it is a Greek band formed in 1967, comprised of world famous singer, Demis Roussos, highly talented musician, Vangelis and Loukas Sideras. How did I discover this band? Well, a while back, I was watching L EMMiNO 's documentary, Grazed By The Apocalypse . During this video, he plays a short clip from the title track of this album. I really liked, so I listened to it. On repeat. Now I have blog where I review albums. I listened to all three of their albums in one Minecraft session. Let's jump into their first album.
