  Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog. Today, I will be reviewing the younger brother of Kid A , Amnesiac. Mostly compiled of leftover ideas from the Kid A sessions, we find a weird selection of songs that at points, don't sound very Kid A-y. Let's see how these tracks sound then... Packt Like Sardines In a Crushd Tin Box opens on some metallic SFX, robotic beats and a quiet synth melody. Thom comes in with the singing in one of his deeper vocal performances. This is one of the catchier songs on the album. Pyramid Song, on the other hand, is the melancholic song on here. Whilst I do like it a lot, I feel as if it scratches the same itch as How To Disappear Completely. They both appear at the beginning of the album, and they both have a very sorrowful feel. Pulk/Pull Revolving Doors is just straight up annoying. The drums are OK, but the vocals get tiring.   Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog. Today, I will be reviewing Death Grips' second studio album, No Love Deep Web. This is actually part of a pair of albums the band released in 2012, under Epic Records, the other one being The Money Store . However, when it came to this album, the release was rather odd, as Death Grips decided to leak their own of album, at midnight. This of course, did not please Epic Records, which eventually lead to the group getting kicked out of the label. Yeah, a bit weird of a release, but that doesn't matter right now. Now, we talk about the music. The opener greets us with buzzing arpeggio synth tones. After an entire minute, MC Ride comes in with his signature tortured vocals, but this time, they're especially aggressive. In contrast, the instrumental is a bit monotone. Then, Ride stops screaming and continues the song with a much calmer, yet haunting delivery. This opener really tells us what this album has to offer. Lil Boy is much more ...

  Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog. Today, I will be reviewing the debut studio album from Skee Mask, Shred. First of all, Skee Mask is a German ambient techno producer that appeared on the underground scene with this album. Let's see what is has to show... We open on Everest, a mostly ambient song with quiet SFX and synth washes cascading through the soundscape. Not a bad start. Hal Conv. has a subtle beat, with multiple melodic elements, such as synth pads and brief leads. Another pretty nice song. Autotuned is a highlight thanks to it's metallic sounding percussion and deep synth pad washes, also being a mostly beat driven song. Shred 08 is another beat oriented song, with much louder beats and less prominent synth pads. Backcountry has some really nice sounding synth pads. Another highlight of the album. Melczop 2 is a rather repetitive song, with not much to it. Zenker Haze Tank sounds a bit too light hearted for me. The beat is rather annoying too. Reshape is prett...

  Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog. Today, I will be reviewing Joy Division's second and last album, Closer. Released 2 months after frontman, Ian Curtis committed suicide, we see a bit more of a different sound compared to Unknown Pleasures . We open on Atrocity Exhibition, the song, not the album. Anyway, it's pretty good, but I find the vocals rather annoying and the percussion doesn't sound very powerful. Isolation has better sounding vocals, but the percussion on here still sounds pretty bad. The song, in general, sounds rather goofy. Passover finally brings us some substance. Ominous guitars and vocals, powerful drumming and thicc basslines. Colony is in the same vein, but this sounding a bit brighter. A Means To An End is rather forgettable, in my opinion. It doesn't really stand out in anyway. Heart And Soul, on the other hand, brings us something new. Reverb drenched... everything, gentle synth pads, heavy basslines and some very nice percussion.   Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog. Today, we are reviewing The Works. After the disaster that was Hot Space, I was hoping for a better up, and return to their original sound. I somewhat found that. We start with Radio Ga Ga. No comment needed. Tear It Up sounded a bit generic, in my opinion. Nothing special, but would have fit very well on their debut . It's A Hard Life was a wonderful ballad. Nothing else to say. Man On The Prowl was a rockabilly, but whilst Crazy Little Thing Called Love was catchy and more fast paced, this one just fades in the background. Machines sounded very weird. That's it. Not even the rock parts were that special. Rather forgettable, honestly. i   w a n t   t o   b r e a k   f r e e . Keep Passing The Open Windows was a pretty nice rock song, but rather generic. No outstanding vocals, no crazy guitar solo, just mediocre stuff. Hammer To Fall was a very nice hard rock song. Not much else to say, just really f...

  Welcome back everyone to my blog. Today, I will be reviewing Pink Floyd's Obscured By Clouds. Not that many people talk about this album, as it is sandwiched inbetween Meddle and TDSOTM. But, hey! We have to get through it if we wanna reach The Big 4. We start the album rather weakly with the title track, it's a slow guitar driven song, with little substance to it. The drums aren't anything special either. Really mediocre track. The next song is When You're In, which is, unfortunately, another mediocre track. Little to no substance at all. Burning Bridges was much better, featuring the first vocals of the album, and a slow, but groovy feel to it. The guitar sounded so nice on this track and drums were surprisingly soothing. A great song overall, also love the guitar solo towards the end. The Gold It's In The... was a really classic rock song. Just epic rock. That's all. Next we have Wots... Uh The Deal was a calm track. Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog. Today, we are starting a new discography for the legendary prog rock band, Pink Floyd. Once again, similiar to how I was introduced to Aphex Twin , Jojo was the main reason I checked out their music. They did not disappoint at all. And now with that my  blog exists, I can talk about their beautiful discography (At the time of writing this post, I have already listened to all of their albums, up until The Wall). With that being said, let's jump straight into the review. We start with the thumping Astronomy Domine. This track was very energetic and had some very nice sounding guitar. Little to no lyrics are sang in this song, and are instead replaced by samples and loud guitars. A pretty good start to the album. Next we have Lucifer Sam. This song's instrumental had an almost Gorillaz-sounding feel to it. The dark guitar melodies and powerful drums made for a relatively OK track. Moving on, we have Matilda Mother.
